On Monday 7th April we finally saw the long anticipated opening of the new Asda store at Swinton Square. The store was officially opened by the Mayor of Salford in front of hundreds of eager Swinton Square shoppers. People had been queuing up early to see the doors open and be the first to get a glimpse of the new store and grab some great bargains.

The new Asda has certainly brought a new energy to the Square, there is a renewed hustle and bustle as shoppers now have the best of both worlds…big High St brands as well as quality independent stores, all in once place.
