Welcome back to Swinton!

The Swinton community is extremely important to us, and as a place where many people shop, live, work and meet, we want to help keep everybody as safe as possible during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Swinton Square has remained open to the public throughout this period, but following Government guidance, further retailers will begin to reopen from 15th June. Boots, Bridgfords, Farmfoods, Freeze Factory, Greenhalgh’s, Halifax, Lloyds, Miad News, Mobile 4 U, Parade Fish Bar, Pound Bakery, Quality Save, Santander, Specsavers, Stotts Optician, Swinton Discounts, Timpson and Value Vision are currently open to the public at this time.
Food operators and personal care services (including nail salons and hairdressers) will currently remain closed, pending further government advice.
Certain stores may only be open by appointment, or with reduced hours, so we recommend calling in advance to confirm their opening hours – contact details can be found on our store directory.
Social distancing measures are clearly marked in place throughout the centre and we ask for the public’s support in adhering to these, maintaining a 2 metre distance when moving around Swinton Square and when queuing for stores. Please note that a ‘keep left’ policy is in place on the stairwell, and the toilet facilities are currently closed to the public.
We look forward to welcoming the community back to Swinton Square and ask for everyone’s support in working together to make the shopping experience as comfortable and safe as possible at this time.
