The Centre received a bunch of heart warming stories with a couple of examples being; a local postman fundraising for good causes, fire fighters working through lock down supporting our nightingale hospitals, supermarket workers ensuring door stop deliveries happen and lots of key workers from the NHS who have worked long hours through difficult times.  All helping to make others’ lives better in the Swinton local area in 2020.

“It’s been great to hear about the good deeds and kind actions that people of the Swinton community have conducted over the last year to support others.  Swinton Square has been able to provide a little bit of festive cheer to 10 special people nominated by their friends and family.  Commented Chris Doidge, Centre Manager at Swinton Square.

He went on to add; “They will receive a hamper full of chocolates, biscuits, cakes and vouchers for Costa, Freeze Factory and Max Spielmann to spend as they please.  I wish everyone a very festive Christmas and I look forward to welcoming you all back in the New Year.”

    The lucky winners were:

Thank you to everyone who entered the campaign.  Have a safe and happy Christmas.
